Why did I get an empty text file?
If you received an empty file, your PDF might be entirely made of scanned images (an Image PDF) without embedded text layers. Our tool extracts existing text, it does not perform OCR on images.
Can I convert the text back to a formatted PDF?
Once converted to .txt, all styling, fonts, and images are permanently lost. If you want to retain formatting while converting, we recommend using our PDF to Word converter instead.
